sNOw day

So apparently 480 schools were closed in New York City today due to the snow storm (including FIT, the New School, and Pace) but NYU wasn't among those.

I don't have a picture to show you how much snow snowed, and maybe this is because I grew up in Ohio where snow doesn't faze anyone, but it really wasn't that bad outside.  The roads were clear, there was salt on the sidewalks, and sure it was cold and slushy, but you can still get to class okay.  My french class today was missing about half of the students, which is a little ridiculous to me when I managed to make it (me, the person who lives all the way at the bottom of the island AND only had one class today, plus an impending paper that would have greatly benefited from an extra day of writing).  

I mean, I'm all for snow days, even though that will never happen at NYU, but today really wasn't that bad.  Just cold.
